The necessity for gear servicing is greatly reduced thanks to a single speed drivetrain that is both definitive and dependable. Maintenance is also reduced with the cable disc brakes that distribute strong halting force, performing in all conditions and environments. You have a range of possibilities with how you approach your journeys with there being 5 modes of power assist to opt for by using the practical handlebar display. This display also presents you with other important figures related to your trips such as battery level and current speed. To make things easier for the user, a walk assist mode has also been added which will limit the strain on your arms and legs when you require to push the bike uphill.

This bike is equipped with a removable 375wh battery that will electrify you for up to 40 miles, an ample distance for any of your errands you need to run. There is also a key lock on this battery which will strengthen the security of the bike when left in a public place. The efficient battery supplies the energy to the dynamic and formidable Bafang rear hub motor system that gives you commanding kicks, enabling effortless hill ascents and smooth cycling.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
